About the training
The training is a 42-day practitioner course for
individuals wanting to become professional craniosacral
therapists.
The training is Biodynamic, covering the physical
as well as emotional aspects of health transformation.
The skill-set learned during this training will allow
a practitioner to listen to the inherent forces of
health and naturally allow for a transformation (healing)
process to occur. The Biodynamic approach offers an
unequalled depth and durability of result. A whole-person
approach is the hallmark of this healing art that
deeply acknowledges a person's mind, body and spirit
qualities.
The training wants to bring variety in the teaching
by presenting the insights of many tutors in the field,
with influences from other relevant fields.
Mission of the training
Our mission is to graduate inspired and inspiring
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy leaders committed
to the highest standards of professional excellence
and safety in the Craniosacral healing art, as well
as to lifelong learning and development.
The training is inspired by the pioneers and leaders
of this work before us. It acknowledges the lineage
as well as opens up the curriculum to new developments
and leading edge concepts in the field. Focus is kept
on palpatory, perceptual and clinical skills which
the student will integrate in a stepped approach.
The training's intention is to provide the student
with safe and grounded clinical skills in order to
provide effective and safe treatment for real issues
and conditions.
Anatomy & Physiology
The course includes anatomy and physiology as experiential
exercises and as a way to increase body awareness
as well as to foster an understanding of one's own
body processes. In time this experiential learning
allows clarity when relating to a client's system.
Learning process
Seminars: The curriculum is composed of seven
6-day seminars offering a total of 42 days contact.
Each seminar is organized around some key concepts
and experiential work.
Bridging days: An optional bridging
day (10am to 4pm) is offered between each seminar
(usually onSatrudays). A bridging day is a one-day
review of the material from prev.ious seminar as well
as an introduction to the next one.
Course format: The curriculum spreads over
a period of 18 to 20 months necessary to allow for
a natural progression of skills through practice.
The seminars and bridging days are a combination of
talks, discussions, Q & A, small group work, and
paired hands-on work.
Assessment: The learning process is assessed
and supported continuously with supervision from tutors.
Note: In-depth course notes are provided throughout
the entire course.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a transformational
experience for both practitioners and clients and
will often clarify emotional or behavioral patterns.
Skills are acquired during this training that will
naturally allow for personal processing of these patterns
as well as allow the student to support safely the
client's own processes. It is strongly suggested that
regular one-on-one treatments be undertaken by the
student during the learning process.
